So many triples have gone down in snowboarding, its insane! Looks like a few dudes got to hit the JOI jump, he had room to go for quad, lol.

This. As impressive as the triples done by McMorris and Horgmo are, most of them just look goofy as fuck.
Not to mention half of those riders seem as though they can't even snowboard. Yeah, they've got it in the air, but having been a snowboard instructor for 6 years, some of those guys look gaper as fuck when they're on snow.

some of those trips are sick and i really like them, but i feel like 80% of the trips they do are just super wobbley and not like a real triple. A triple cork on skis just seems 10x more dangerous/gnarly than the average snowboard trip cork

When people first started doing them I thought they looked way sicker than anything on skis but now everybody does them the exact same and it got old really fast. Would be nice to see some more variation like that front triple off the toes, shit was so ca$h

So literally what you're saying here is that triples take little to no prior snowboarding experience. I hopw you realize that before you triple you have to double (not necessarily but you get the point), before you double you have to single, and for many people even doing a single flip takes a couple years to learn. I highly doubt these people in the video are "gaper as fuck" unless they learned how to triple over the course of one season

I honestly don't believe that's true, i feel like skiers have more options when it comes to progression, where snowboarders really don't have a huge variety of grabs so they just huck themselves. The only snowboarder that really progresses in terms of cool grabs is halldor with his lobster flip.
