Hey guys, today me and my friend went to a park with a steep hill and set up a turf inrun and put a rail at the bottom. We have the same skis but mine were new with a coat of wax on them and hes arent. He was getting more than enough speed, but i was coming to a dead stop at the bottom of the hill. Could it be that my edges are sharp and i have a coat of wax ? + K For helpful answers
it's not the edges. Did you guys soak the inrun with soap and water? that should give u enough speed. Plus, i don't think fresh wax and astroturf is a good combo, but rather slow u down.
Wax your skis, but scrape the wax off. wax the rail. water the inline like a motherfucker and use soap. If that doesn't help try pole planting or something. Otherwise its the turf that sucks.
