tsk94The Slat is the exact same ski as the Slicer from Dynastar.
Carl_the_LlamaBump. Parker White and Chris Logan kill it on them... Anyone actually own them? Buttery? Stiff?
kirbstopperButtery Tip and Tail, Very stable underfoot. IMO one of the most versatile park skis out there. I use it as my everyday driver in Whistler.
WillowShabbyMy friend skis it and he says it's awesome! Buttery but can hold an edge without much chatter! plus they look good! I say go for it!
Carl_the_LlamaWould anyone reccomend a mounting point for 75% park, 25% all mountain jibbin...
kirbstopperI mounted at the higher of the two recommended lines. Roughly 2cm back from true centre. Still lots of tail for switch but still enough nose to stay afloat.
fluffycloudsSo they aren't much like the S3s? A ski which killed it for me wherever I took them.
kirbstopperIt is not as light as most park skis because it is designed to shred the mtn too without deflection. There is only metal under the mount plate, so although the ski maybe a little heavier than others, it is really damp and absorbs a lot better than most. Also reduces the tip flap I have noticed. The swing weight is quite low just like all other rossi skis which IMO matters more than actual weight. And yea the tails look a little low but I have never had a single problem with switch hits or landings, including non groomed terrain.

medialcortexHey guys I've got 15 days on the slats as a lifty on mt hood, and I've already noticed quite a bit of top sheet chipping, and my edge underfoot is already 1/4 of the original width, rossi said they haven't seen that ever so warranty coming soon ill report back on how they hold up. Couple pros and cons. Pros playful as hell super flexy but stable at high speeds I can charge chunder on Palmer glacier no problem. But I don't like how for a 600 dollar top park ski how they don't roll the sideways like on their cheaper models. All in all riding wise id give them an 9-10 durability wise on this pair 7-10
Carl_the_LlamaOK, so you're getting them replaced on warranty due to edge loss? Otherwise happy except for topsheet chipping? That's what I got out of that...
Thanks tho.
