I'm a huge fan of Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy and I am really pissed about this. They're gonna ruin the badass image that Batman currently has after an awesome trilogy.

I had high hopes for Man of Steel but I ended up being pretty disappointed. It was pretty much explosions for two hours straight and a really shitty plot with so-so acting.

also a huge fan of Nolan's trilogy. i don't think anyone will ever be able to top it, honestly. i could see b.a. playing a decent batman, but he'll never be as good as bale. mighty big shoes to fill...

the batman movies are some of the best superhero movies around, there are just so many thought provoking plots that occur with the whole what is morally right question.

And also heath ledger and joker. I highly doubt anyone will be able to play a better joker for a long time.

I agree with gato, there was no franchise once christoper nolan left after his trilogy. Just like there was no franchise before....the batmans before Nolans were fucking HORRENDOUS.

Michael Keaton was actually a damn good yet wholly unlikely Batman.

But seriously, fuck Ben Affleck. He couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. After the Christian Bale batman movies, this pantywaist Adam West bullshit is gonna be such a gigantic disappointment.

He did a pretty good job on "Argo" though... I really can't see him as the batman, but im just going to wait for the movie and see how it turn out. Perhaps it's a good cast after all?

karl urban would have been perfect for a dark batman, kind of like what they did with james bond. got away from the preppy playboy and found more of an assassin.
