Building custom skis

I'm looking into building a pair of custom skis at home. Does anybody know exactly how to layer it properly, how to cut the shape and profile the cores precisely? I know where I can find all the necessary materials. also, I don't need to build anything into them for the bindings, do I? I plan on just getting them mounted at a shop.

Any LEGIT input is appreciated. Haters are not welcome on this thread, I am only looking for advice.

I build skis for Grace Skis and we do semi custom skis if you're interested. Pick an existing sidecut of ours and then choose a flex pattern and camber profile. We also do custom laser topsheets. If you're not interested, I have a few words of advice for you: Edging is a bitch, good epoxy is expensive as fuck and layup is very precise. gotta make sure you don't get epoxy all over the place. Also, bamboo makes the best cores.

CNC is the way to go to profile cores. And you'll need to figure out how to make a press.

for the bindings: put another layer of glass into the area you want your bindings to be mounted, and a layer of rubber. You don't need more

Another layer of glass will also stiffen them up underfoot, which may be a good thing

A few things:

It takes longer than you think it will
