I say hell yes, if a girl says yes it means yes regardless of her being drunk. The sad thing is that the term "rape" has broadened so much that it now includes mistakes that girls made the night before. Tis a shame.

Rape and regrettable sex aren't the same thing.

Drunk can mean anything from fully functional to comatose.

The biggest problem out there is the use of the excuse "but I was drunk" that people use to try to release their own responsibility from their actions. I would have thought that shit would have lost it's cool after sophomore year of high school but oh no...

Yes. If a girl is drunk, and a guy is drunk, and they have consensual sex can't the guy be charged with rape? This is the way that my teacher explained it to me, and it seems like bullshit.
That being said, if the guy is sober then I agree that's a bit rapey.

fully ok with it. drunk is not rape. passed the fuck out and unresponsive is rape. girls crying rape when they were tipsy and made a mistake is like black guys crying racism when they got the short end of a stick in a completely unbiased situation (like not getting a job or getting pulled over for a misdemeanor).

just a fucking coward's way of playing a sympathy card and not taking responsibility for their own actions.

I am curious if a guy turned that, cause I have heard of girls saying that it was rape when a guy had sex with them while they were drunk and he was sober. What is a drunk guy has sex with a sober girl, can he go and call rape and not get laughed at?


But seriously it is a tricky situation. I have seen both sides with friends, girls who claim rape when they are just regretting a drunk night and girls who actually get raped when they were drunk. The issue comes when the girl who actually gets raped fears that nobody will like her if she claims rape and nobody will believe her because "she was drunk" or "she put herself in that situation"

Yes. If she say's no its' not cool, if she's wasted and unable to function and you just stick your dick in her also no.

Getting drunk and having consensual sex is not rape. It doesn't matter if the guy is sober or drunk. If you get pulled over driving drunk you can't say "but I was too drunk to make a good decision".
