Im 6' 178lbs and ski 99% park on the east coast of canada (ontario) ride 70/30 rails/jumps and the 179 seems a little small, but on the other hand, the 187 seems too tall, any advice would be great!
I'm on the 179 Bridges from '10-'11 and i'm 6ft 5in (though long overdue for a new pair of skis) and i can say that they're quite fun at a shorter length. They do have a full reverse camber so they ski a little bit short but they can still rip some long curves on the flatpack. Swingweight wise they are quite nice in my size and can easily get around tricks though i have not tried the longer size. In short both of the sizes will work and it's really up to how you want to ski. If you want them for park then with the smaller turning radius and lighter swingweight, go for the 179 (assuming that you're not going to grow much more) otherwise if you're looking at them for more of a cruising and fresh snow/powder ski and planning on growing a bit more, go for the longer size. Have fun!
