News isn't a horrible idea to add
MAKE GIFS FOR AWESOME SKIING CLIPS
Tumblr exclusive NS related news or sneakpeeks :)

4. I like that the design is simple and clean. Not cluttered which is kind of annoying sometimes.

5. Tumblr is GIF crazy. you should implement them as much as possible!

Cant wait to see the new design too

problem is my tumblr is also filled with a bunch of random shit hahaaha

I'll focus on making the NS one the best skiing tumblr source though! I agree, gifs are very popular and big hits! anyone want to send me a tutorial on how to make them easily?

For one, it helps spread out the awesome content that members on here produce, and allows it to get seen by a larger audience than those that go through the news/video/photo sections daily. A lot of the ski related content on Tumblr is from NS to begin with, so it's nice to join in and contribute to the pool as the actual source.

And Jamie, either import a video file to photoshop and save it as a gif (not really complicated, but slightly annoying), or just use an online generator (there are tons, and they're way easier to use, haha).

Compress it more if you can, most gifs dont work on tumblr unless their less than 2mb

i like the layout and it makes some of the best content really accessible to a large audience. a lot more people can have access to this, people who know nothing about newschoolers still can appreciate sweet skiing photos.

my tumblr is in my sig. all my content and mostly skiing:)
