NS video player lagging

Whenever i watch something with the ns player, the videos always pauses a bit every 5-8 seconds or so, while the sound is perfect. Its not a long pause, only for about .2 of a second. Gets really annoying when it happens in the middle of a trick. All other players work perfectly fine, this only happens with the ns player. Am i the only one experiencing this?
