i was roller blading with my friends a couple nights ago and i ended up eating shit hard off a 270 out and broke my fibula and im in a cast for about 6 weeks. is there anything you guys do when your injured and cant do anything im going insane ive never broken anything before so it sucks being stuck in a bed all day long
I busted my knee in january and since then I've just gotten a girlfriend, boned her a bunch, played a lot of guitar and smoked a lot of weed. lots of gta also
Weight lifting, reading, working, etc. There are plenty of opportunities for you to do things. Just because your fibula is broken doesn't mean you're confined to your bed. That's your CHOICE. There are plenty of paraplegics and others with far worse injuries or permanent handicaps who get out and find things to do. Enjoy life, don't waste it! Be productive.
Since you have the time, think about it: what are some things that you've been wanting to do or even meaning to do but you've been putting off because other things have taken precedence? Do those things! Even if they're not fun or even if it's boring tedious shit that you really dread doing but needs to be done, DO IT. You'll be glad later.
Tune your own skis, write a letter to an old friend (or family member... grandparents, maybe?) who you haven't spoken to in ages, fix something that's broken, learn how to wrench on your own vehicle, go the extra mile with your studies or work, search for a better job, rewrite your resume, help a friend or family member with something, etc. Open your eyes; there's more to life than what's directly in front of you.
Learn an instrument. That's the best way to pass time. But when I was Injured I'd learn stupid little things like how to solve a Rubik's cube, or kendama, or butterfly knife because you can always get better with those so they never get old
