"Streets Of Tampere" FULL MOVIE

Hey guys! We just published our urban skiing movie called "Streets Of Tampere". 4 months of hard work and long days but now it's done. Feedback!


Still a lot to learn about filming and editing stuff but yea...hope you enjoy!

Damn, that was a very enjoyable movie. None of that taking yourselves too serious bullshit, just a short fun movie. Fantastic work

I am so hyped to see people hitting urban features! too awesome!

I have some pros and cons for the movie though

Pros

- Everything was lit super well
- Good variety of features
- good amount of different riders
- Liked the time lapse and intro

Cons

- Build some smaller lips. I know this sounds like the typical thing to say but it really takes away from shots and is unnecessary.

- Shorten Peoples segments, this would benefit you the most in the fact that the viewer would see the spots less so it would make the movie that much more enjoyable to watch.

- Be super critical of what spots make it in the movie. There were some spots (ie the abandoned building spot) that were way smaller and less impressive then other shots and could have been left out making the movie that much more hammer.


All in all it was a great first movie. Hope you guys keep hitting urban!

Now that's a good feedback, thanks a lot! I agree with cons...I wasn't so critical while I was editing so there are some unnecessary shots. But I'll try to be more critical when editing the next movie. I'm not sure about shortening the segments maybe just more some b-roll and high quality shots only. But yea we'll start 2 years urbanmovie project so more urban action coming for you later! We'll try to do things better in future especially the production side so people give us more feedback please!

Some of those features!?! haha, film was enjoyable.
But I also agree with what's said above with being more critical to shots.
If this movie was 15 mins instead of 20, or you used more fillers, it would have been even better.
I also miss some slow-mo. I'm not a big fan of it, but some slow-mo here and there is cool!

also super stoked to se a urban movie with different tricks and not just 270 out on everything!

Nice to hear you liked it, thanks! This project was more like "hey lets try to do urban skiing movie". So it wasn't serious business and I tried to be friendly and put some shots from everybody. But next project will be more serious so I'll be critical and less friendly with the shots.

Sorry for a double post but I'd like to see some feedback especially about filming and editing. I know that there are some unnecessary shots but do you have anything else to say about production side. It was my first season filming with dslr and I'm still learning more about that. You can find some mistakes there ie. rider is out of focus. And sometimes there wasn't enough light because in early season we only had one 700W generator. Now we have enough lighting equipment for upcoming 2 years project and we're training our filming skills. But anyway if you have anything to say about filming, editing lighting or something else what becomes to production side say it.
