Saga advertising on ask.fm

I just think its an odd place for them to advertise anyone else have any thoughts?

Are you sure it wasn't just phishing because it classified you as fitting that target area? All types of ads will follow you around different websites, even the ads on NS phish foryour interest and info to target you...

They make cool stuff but I went on the website and everything was preorder only I can't do preorder stuff I don't know where the hell I'll be it ships I'll probably live in 5+ different places between now and ski season.

I wonder if saga knows about the ask.fm suicides, I know a lot of companies pulled out from advertising there as a result.

If ask.fm is using google ads, google automatically puts ads from sites you visit a lot, so it might be that.

The ads come up on those sites because we advertise using google ad words. You pay for the service and submit your ads. Then any person who is potentially interested in our stuff will have our ads come up on any site that uses the ad words program for banner ads on their site. People have seen our ads on all kinds of random websites because of it. It's not that we are specifically trying to advertise with ask.fm or any of the other sites. We are just using the ad words program. It's really effective and inexpensive at expanding your marketing reach.

I actually had no clue where it was haha, just heard it on the news/radio all day.

My mum keeps on going on about how sad it is, I think she's trying to let me know bullying's bad... I'm not fucking 8 years old haha.

if you kill yourself over a anonymous question, well i dont know maybe you shouldnt have made the account? i mean its extremely sad for the families affected but so much bullying shit is brought on by the kids themself. why would you make a anon question account if youre already being bullied a lot in person and on twitter facebook whatever, its just leaving it open for others to make it even worse. i dont know i just think most of these cyberbullying suicide cases now could be avoided or wouldnt come to the tragic end like they do if the kids just got themselves away from it. easier said than done but really
