I was wondering how the line blends an bacons compare to each other. Which is better for different conditions? Which one is more playful and flexy? If you have skied both, which did you enjoy more?
I have blends and I must say they are a really fun ski. I like that they are on the softer side, which makes them really playful. I haven't had a chance to ski any real deep snow with them, but they were great in the fresh and old crust that I skied them on. I mounted mine -2cm back from dead center, and I'm glad I went with a more centered mount. I did take these skis on jumps a little bit and found I really liked the stability of a wider ski, which led me to a wider park ski
I think they are both on the softer side. The bacons have more rocker and a wider platform so they will perform better in powder. To decide, just choose whether you will be skiing more park and/or groomers(blend) or powder (sfb).
