Without a doubt, the only skiing footage that people will see in the US will be from NBC (Or whoever has the rights this year). They tend to only do interviews with gold medal winning athletes, and really only care if the US wins a medal.
NS is going to be there because they love the sport. It's awesome that skiing is in the Olympics, and NS should be there to show the whole scene, not just interview the gold medal winner. Everyone has their favorite skier that may or may not be competing, interview them, the people that NS loves, and see what they think about it all. Some countries will have gymnasts that they strapped skis to, and others will have actual skiers. It'd be interesting to get both viewpoints. The gymnasts will have no style, but probably huck a million times harder.
A daily recap of what went on would be awesome. Who is throwing what in practice runs, what the course looks like, would it actually be fun to ski, or are they just doing a plain rail rail rail jump jump jump course?
I don't know. Make it something that skiers would love to watch, instead of the boring normal segment that NBC will put out. Highlight the style, progression, and skiers themselves. Don't make it about the medals. At all.
