fine arts (painting/sculpture/drawing/etc supply stores) or there are usually dedicated framing stores in some places, occasionally you can find some nice frames from winners/ross/etc type stores, or wherever they get their shit from? (homesense type stores?) depends how much you are looking to pay and how big you need your frame

For basic simple frames, usually Target.
For more specific frames or ones that I want to matte, etc, I usually go with stores like Michaels, Dick Blick, and a couple little local places. I've found that looking at a physical frame in a store is wildly more accurate than trusting a photo of a frame in an online store. A frame is a very significant part of any displayed photo or art piece, and not something I usually trust to online shopping.

Best spot I have gotten frames was from auction halls and yard sales, usually the cheap ones I reprint and of spray paint gold or black or something, others I keep the rustic look
