Me joining in 2011, I thought this was pretty interesting. I thought I would share for other new members who were wondering what newschoolers used to look like and any og members who may just want to enjoy some nostalgia. yeah i should have said something about that, but from 04-08 i unfortunately could not find a good or accurate representation of what the site looked like and it didnt change much from 08 to about '11 so instead of posting a screen shot of 11 and then another basically identical one (with a different picture of the day) from today, I just posted the one from today.

I remember 2003 so distinctly, and then it's fuzzy for the next several years. It just became sick photos without much NS branding.

I was introduced to NS in 2004. Now that I'm seeing it, it doesn't feel like all that long ago the website looked that way

I did that from like 2003 to 2005 when I finally joined. I'm not sure why either.

Probably because NS seemed like an angry place to drop a new member into.

I didn't join for a while. The forums weren't as significant and noticeable back then, and most of my time was spent in the video and photos sections where there wasn't really a need for an account. It's crazy, but I don't think i discovered NSG for almost a year after joining.

'03 is the first one I remember.... but I signed up for the first time (with an account I promptly lost the login info of in 2002, must have been just after the change?

It's not that hard to find. Go to your feedback and replace the number with 1,2,3,4... etc.

am i the only one who used freeskiing.com/freeski colonies prior to coming over to NS? I refused to change over because I thought that was the future of online skiing. How wrong I was...

I actually put that sticker on that dartboard in 2004 and legit threw that knife.

There was tonnes of other sites out there that used to compete with us. I'd be curious to hear what the reason was that you eventually made the switch?
