You may as well take it, op. You should be able to do reasonably well as long as you study, and if you can do well on the ap test you could potentially place out of colleges in classes or get credit or whatever it is schools do these days.
If you have what it takes to get the scores to place out of the credits in college, biggest no brainer in the world. Gen eds fucking suck. I didn't even feel like I was in college when I had to take shitloads of gen eds that had nothing to do with my major.
it always depends on the teacher. if the teacher is good it will be worth it and you will get a high score on the AP test. if its a shitty teacher you will have a horrible time and not get that good of a score. i had a great teacher and the class was really hard, but i got a 4 on the test
