Wear Hoodys/Tallts or Jackets this winter?

As money is tight as always, i was wondering if I should save up and hope to find a sick jacket on sale or if I should just wear tallt's on warmer days and alternate between like two hoodies on normal tempature days on the weekend.
Last year I wore a Jiberish Sweatshirt everyday which was not that bad but was annoying having to layer up and ware the same sweatshirt everyday.
So i was just wondering what ur guy's opinion is. Get a Jacket or Tall T's and a couple Hoodies?

You could get a jacket for the cost of two hoodies. But where do you ski. If its wet where you ski it's an obvious desicion but if its mainly dry then you may be able to get away with hoodies. Don't get any tall t's though get a nice base layer like an ice breaker.

There's some pretty cost effective outerwear companies out there right now. I bet if you keep your eyes open you'll find a decent deal on a solid jacket.
Plus with a hoodie as soon as it rains you're soaked.

I don't care where you live, you should always have a jacket, even if it's only rated like 8-10k waterproofing. It's still shitloads better than cotton hoodies and tees, and it will block the wind.
I'm guessing you live in the east somewhere, but you still get rainy days, and days when it's cold and windy as fuck, and I'd be willing to bet that wearing a jacket on those days will improve your experience a lot.

2 hoodies aren't really a great substitute for a J
jacket. Just have a look around in shops, online and BST. It might be worth having a look at untracked.com they'll have a tonne of jackets from previous season at a discounted price. (sorry about the clicky, I'm on mobile)

Wearing 2 hoodies should not be a thing. I love showing up to the mountain in one tall tee and a jacket while my friends have 4+ tees and 2 hoodies on. Guess who is warmer..

Got this years anomie for $140 before it even came out except for the inside material which is actually warmer than this years on BST. Just skim around the whole summer until you find something you like
