Replying to Another "what's my size" Alpha 1 edition

Sorry to bother you all with another of these threads, but I'm very close to pulling the trigger and just want to make sure I don't make a mistake..

About me: 25, 6'1" about 170 of your American pounds. As my advanced age would suggest I'm not really progressing much any more, just looking for a fun ski for about 70% park 30% mucking around on trails. My home mountain is a bit of a joke compared to what you may be used to so playful is the name of the game. I've always prefered shorter skis; my absolute favourites were 171 MSP's. I've got my heart set on Alpha 1's and know I probably should be getting the 182's but would the 176's really be way too short? I'd really like to get the shortest I can get away with.. Any tips, opinions, abuse welcome. Thanks NS!
