Alright so I went through two pairs of walls in the last few years and absolutely loved them. Perfect flex, ripped carves and pretty durable. Then a few of my friends got a really good deal on liberty antigens. they sucked- my pair is the only pair that hasn't fallen apart after a few months- they're washy, way too soft and the rocker is stupid.
Now I'm gonna get a pair of skis off backcountry.com. I should probably just get volkl walls again cause i know i love them, but the graphics look like dick and they would overlap with my antigens. The new chronics look pretty fun, have an absolutely piffed out dragon on them and would be much more versatile- but is the flex similar to the volkl wall? Has anyone skied both and can tell me if they ski similar or not? I would like to have something that is like a wider, slightly more versatile volkl wall- but if chronics are really soft and ski like the antigens, then fuck that noise.
more relevant information- 6'3'', 185 lbs. ski east coast.
other skis i hated- armada pipe cleaners. way to soft...i have no idea how those are pipe skis.
