I just had my Marker Griffins mounted to my new Sir Francis Bacon skis, and I thought I'd latch into them and tried to nose press. When I did, I basically pre-released and the heel pieces came down! I've never experienced this problem with my Line Anthems and my Rossignol FAS 120 bindings, and I've nose pressed the crap out of them for almost 4 years. I can pretty much rule out worn boots, because my boots are also brand spanking new (I was in desperate need of some new gear).
it's not that I expect to be doing mad nose presses on my newly bought powder skis, but it concerns me how easily the heel pieces came up with a little forward pressure and I really don't want to be eating a whole bunch of ski nose when the time comes that they fail on me. Has anyone else had this experience with the griffins? What did you do to fix it?
