Summer Skiing Kicker

Whats the gradient of the bed, is it subtle gradient or an extreme drop off to deep water? A old quarry would be a lot easier to build a jump into as there tends to be a sharp drop off, where as natural lakes dont have that typically. However you've also got to consider that you're going to be throwing your self into a large and potentially deep body of water with some relatively heavy equipment.

Water is fairly deep where we will be jumping, cause there is a pretty long dock that we will be doing bungee pull ins with turf/ msnow off of. I havent really thought of the second problem. Probably life jackets?

Just get a winch. Its worth it if you want to have any speed. Bungee will barely get you off a kicker you would try and learn trick off of, and msnow is a better bet. It makes it more expensive when you first build it, but once you realize turf and bungee dont get you enough speed, and you have to redo it all, it makes sense. If you do it right and get a good winch, you should have a fairly sizeable jump with enough airtime to get a clean 5 maybe a 7 if you can really get an edge and spin. Good luck, keep us updated
