i got the p12's for my chronics this year...heard they are bombproof and the release system seems the safest system outside of the line binding.

Solly bindings arn't that bad. I got the 912 mounted on my PEs and they work great. They are pretty light too. My bindings take alot of abuse and they are still in great shape.

Personal preference, from what ive heard theres no difference in performance...so its ur call. I'd go for the p12, just cause they look cooler...

P12 are olso easier to get into if you have a little snow on your boot and binding before you click in.

Senortetas: 'i've literally seen multiple pairs of look's break in front of my eyes'
Really? I've seen multiple pairs of Salomon's break in front of my eyes. I'm surprised to hear that. I have a pair of S810's and they are beat to shit after half a season. Did you see Look Pivot series bindings breaking? I have never seen that, not to say it doesn't happen though.
To answer the question, Look's are a heavier binding, but feel a lot more durable in your hands. Pivot tech will also help keep your knees alive, Looks are where its at.
