Logan Imlach is one of the countless “pro” skiers who supplement their ski career with hard labor. The tradition of banging nails all summer to ski all winter is well-established practice in skiing. Being a drilling engineer on an oil rig in the Alaskan outback is not. But after winning the Superunknown contest in 2010, Logan was presented with the opportunity to film with Level 1 just as his girlfriend was starting Master’s program in occupational therapy. In order to fund it all and still make time for skiing, Logan took his engineering degree to the front line of America’s search for oil. He went to the Alaskan frontier, and [works] three weeks on, three weeks off, twelve hours a day.

What do you like about NS that makes you frequent the forums? Most skiers of your caliber seem to think NS is so amateur and they don't spend much time on here, you're really the only one on the L1 crew who's on here every day that you have internet access. So why NS?

Oh awesome, do you choose what gets put into the article based on their answers? or do they choose based on the questions?

Yup, every single question! I simply sort them by preference & type of question, and they choose which ones they want to answer.

For example, the shitty/ stupid questions will be at the bottom. Another example -- if there's five questions about the same topic, I'll group them together.

I'll also always post the question and answer if provided.

If im totally honest i havent read all of the questions and everything i wanted to know from you was in the answers of some other questions but you took the time to answer my short question aswell. I was really suprised when I saw you really answered it but I turly appreciate it. Thanks once again!

One mor question: Do you chose the songs in your segments/edits ? The Sunny Segment and also this edit i recently watched
They both have these awesome tunes in it and i wanted to know if it was your choice or the editors choice to throw your skiing on these tracks?

Oh and please tell us the name of the songs if you know them haha.

i pick the songs for my self edits (such as the one you posted, van morrison "wild night"), but for the segments in the movies its much more complicated getting the rights to music and such so we don't get to outright pick our songs. but we do have a say in it.
