I have not heard anything and noticed that they are not on the if3 list? Anyone know anything?

You must be living under a rock man. Last year was unfortunately their last year making a movie. I don't think they were selling enough

It sucks Meat Head Films made me so proud to be from the East. Favorite segment would have to be form work it out Shea, Andy and Will jibbing the monuments in DC, what other movie companies could have a better urban location.

Fuck I will miss Meathead, so many good movies and good parts. Just saw head for the hills for the first time the other day and Will's ender segment is insane! especially for some '08 stugg

damn I never even realized that... idk how I missed it for this long.

I checked on their site and saw a facebook status saying that they were waiting for Ben Leoni to send them some footage for an edit this autumn, so at least they will still be producing some good videos just not movies.

Bummer to be without Meatheads. The premieres were also a fall time favorite for me.

There are still some great crews putting together movies that are primarily EC based. HG skis' Aurora and Brotherhood's "Our Own Way" will be awesome.

i helped film a ''superpark'' shoot they had this spring at mt snow with a bunch of East coast skiers, going to be couple cool edits dropping this fall about that

i didnt even hear about them not doing films anymore. they seemed respected online but all the people i ski with dont even know who they are. gonna suck not seeing any east coast pow shots

So weird this thread came up, I was just thinking about them this week and about how I haven't heard much from them lately. Its a damn shame, a lot of companies come and going lately: first Voleurz and now these guys... Its a tough industry that's for sure.

This is correct. Lots of footage in the can though. MHF has been morphing into Ski The East for a few years now. New Skitheeast.net website and fresh edits coming soon. More will be announced when the new site goes live. The annual DVD's are done, but the stoke is not. Good run...

Wait, so MEATHEADS is done, but STE is sort of picking up where they left off so to speak?? I just don't understand how it can go from Powder award -> nothing. I mean, John Elway may have been onto something but it's not like the boys are stopping skiing and filming... Is there any hope of STE picking up the torch or is formal filming and making full movies a thing of the past?

Please tell me STE will continue to make the East proud on film!

Formal filming continues. Tons of stuff in the can from 12/13 will be dropped this fall/winter. We're planning to shoot with the STE team this winter per usual.
