Wakeskiing is absolutely retarded. Slalom waterskiing, on the other hand, is awesome.

1. I thought this video was funny

2. The title was meant to imply: Why wakeski when you can do this on a slalom.. which was also supposed to be funny

3. Nobody really does this in Slalom.. which is what makes it funny.

true haha. i was thinking of the ski vacationing/chalet owning crowd vs the boat owning crowd, but yeah, waterfront + boat + truck to pull said boat definitely costs way more than mountainside property ownership.


wakeboarding is still cooler.... because girls in bikinis flock to wakeboard boats

that video is like the equivalent of a skier tossing a dub cork on a pair of 220 downhill race skis. It's more of an exercise in doing something completely ridiculous - and pretty impressive.
