Does anyone on NS ski with a back brace? A few of my younger friends wear them and it seems they're basically indestructible with them on. Maybe it's just them, but I was just wondering what it feels like / does it cause you to feel safer when trying new tricks?
I wear one most of the time. Once your use to them it doesn't feel like your wearing one at all and its saved me a few times. It takes some of the impact out of falls but if its a bad fall your still going to know about it. I wouldn't say i feel more indestructible with it on i'm just grateful for it when i do eat shit hard and its not as bad as it could have been because i'm wearing the back brace
It helps a lot I find. Most have like a kidney belt too so when you knuckle hard it just sort of holds you all together better I find, so it stops all sorts of back pain even when you don't land directly on your back. Well worth it I think if your going big.
I borrowed my mates motorcross one but didnt get along with it. Im looking at getting a forcefield body armour for when i finally get to go do my ski season next year. Worst nightmare is that my season gets cut short, do whatever to prevent that
