Ok so I haven't even been skiing that long. 3 years actually. I've only been skiing park for 2 though. This is counting the up coming season. I i only have 1 park year under my belt. I can 2 out and switch up but I was wondering what you guys think would need to be expected to be sponsored and place in some contests.
To be a good park skier, you really need to have your basics nailed. Not to be a dick but if you have only been skiing for 3 years, unless you spend 3+ days a week every week at the mountain, your probably not that great yet. Obviously it doesn't hurt to start working on some little stuff in the park but dont be too surprised if you catch edges going into or out of features on a fairly regular basis, as beginners do that kind of shit all the time when there inst a big obstacle (like a rail or jump) in their way.
You will not get sponsored with those tricks. Wait at least around 4 years when you've gotten a sick bag of tricks and have developed your style before you think about that. For now, just enjoy skiing with your friends. You're still a beginner
