Sorry if this has been posted before, I don't read much.

I've had the epic pass the last 3 years. Good stuff if you're in Colorado, hell if you just visit it's worth it because daily lift tickets are a fuggin rip off in Colorado.

It's cool that they're adding all sorts of resorts, first it was Tahoe area, then they added some resorts like Afton in MN (weird huh?), then Canyons in SLC, and now I see you can ski Austria.

It's sick, price hasn't gone up (noticeably) since I first bought it 4 years ago.

But what's going to happen when they buy so many resorts that you can't NOT buy it? Maybe prices will get jacked up, idk

moving to SLC this year, I'm glad they have Canyons so if I never get around to buying a Utah season pass and on days I feel too cheap to buy a lift ticket, I can always ski canyons. Then still can ski Colorado too.

but it gets me worried sometimes too. Am I the only one?

Fuck em. Who pays to have a bunch of douches threaten people all day. Their job is to promote safety. Bullshit. Promotion =/= education. All they do is yell at guests and mad dog everyone. I've never seen one that wasn't smug as fuck. Who works as mtn safety. People who cant join patrol of their local PD and get a hard on from handing out their retarded 'speed warnings'. Never had a run in just think the whole program is miscalculated and has major issues with the approach to its 'mission'.

I'll have the Canyons on the Epic Pass. Not to mention, you can get really cheap lift tickets at REI and such for the SLC resorts. I think I've seen resorts like Park City for as low as $45, then anywhere from $62-$72 for a day pass anywhere else. The silver pass for all the resorts is 2700 which I'd never get use out of. They just made a deal where if you buy a either a PC/Alta/Snowbird/Deer Valley pass, you get to ski 3 days at each of the other 3 resorts. Might do that because Park City season pass is cheapest and best for park, but then I'd be tied into skiing those rather than having all the variety. Plus I'll probably spend a fair amount of time in Colorado still now that my old roomate moved to Breck
people are right though, we do bitch a lot.

Vail resorts and their safety patrol is whack. I've never gotten a ticket, but I remember early last season riding with a guy on the lift at Breck. he was being all stoked and chatty and friendly, but when he saw a guy skiing near the trees right maybe just outside the rope, he got on his walkie and gave an exact description of the guy and told the people down at the lifts to pull his pass. Man, I wanted to throw that guy off the lift after that and was not interested in talking to that dbag. I mean sure they have a job and have to maintain order because people could be getting hurt, but seriously..ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

Honestly im stoked that Vail is branching out more and more. Only means more places i can ski :D Everyone on here is bitching about the yellow jackets, and yea you get fucked the first few days, but after you know the drill, you can effectively go as fast as you want down the whole mountain without ever being bothered, especially after the tourist rush has subsided. When you are stopped, you be polite and get out of pass pulls.

A PC young adult/college pass is like $350, you can get a pass at most place for $500 if you're under 25. Canyons is decent I'll give you that but coming from breck/key you will be very disappointed with the park. The terrain is probably similar as summit county mountains.

I mean you have to be a fucking idiot if you don't slow down when you see one of those tools chilling or be extremely apologetic and act dumb if they catch you.

Epic moving to Utah is amazing. I spend winters in Tahoe. BUt this year I can chill in Vegas Nov/Dec and ski whichever of Utah/Tahoe has better snow. I now have no reason to be in Tahoe if its shitty and Utah has better conditions which can happen early season especially.

So this year I'll plan to pay to ski PC and Bird once. Hit Alta 5-10 times mostly afternoons or anytime I can get a discount pass. 20ish days at Canyons. 30-40 in Tahoe most of them at K wood when there is deep powder. Maybe a Alps trip again with 5 days at Verb, 5 at Aarlberg, and another few thrown in. Alps trip or no alps trip things are lining up nicely for a sweet season thanks to Vail.

And the Canyons aren't that far from Wendover and legal sportsbetting (other reason I go to NV.) Not having to use strictly Reno/Tahoe casinos is a good thing since those fucks know me well and could 86 me at any time.

well at afton alps it means a college pass finally, and hopefully some park improvements, so it could be not so bad
