I need custom footbeds, but not a single bootfitter around me.

When I was on vacation, I got my boots fit by a bootfitter. They now fit great but I still have a very flat foot, so it causes my foot to roll in, thus making it "wider", and being squished by the sides of the boot. Now when I wear shoes, I have inserts that fix this, but on boots I don't.

Where can I get custom footbeds if I don't have a bootfitter within 200-250 miles of me?

You can't unfortunately. Your choices are wait until you can get to a boot fitter or you could get some of the sidas trim to fits. They are the same basic footbed as the customs just with a generic shape. But the shape is much better generally then something like a super feet, and best of all you can get them molded when you can get to a boot fitter. Check out the sidas site and let me know if your not sure which to get.

To be most supportive you want them I side the liner. Usually you would remove the old insole and trim them to the correct size. They won't last a supper long time or be that effective until you can get them molded and surported but they will be better then nothing.

awesome, so you put it in the liner with your foot? and can you buy them online?

Also, can you mold them yourself?

They come with a generic shape already so you can use them straight away. All you need to do is cut them to the right size. Like I said just take out your old insole and use that to size them. If you ha e full tilts its a but harder as they don't have stock insoles. You can try taking insoles out of shoes until you find one that fits or slowly cut down the footbed and trying it in the liner until it fits.

I would guess you can find them online yeah but I'm in the uk so could not advise where to try.

It's unluckily they will be able to make you decent ones for skiing. The foot bed you need for a show is very differnt then that for a footbed so unless they specialise in skiing don't bother. Also they are super expensive.

Hey Lick if you got the time make a trip to Pierce skate and ski in Bloomington, MN. They have the best boot fitting and foot beds for skiing in the Midwest. I go in there every time when I'm back home.
I know it's still far from you (2.5 hours) but they are the best you can get in the mid west.
If you go set up an appointment ahead of time (it's free) and talk to Dave Hinz. Every time I see him he will always will tell me something new about ski boots or feet that I never thought about but makes perfect sense.

Awesome! Thanks, I might be going up there soon so I will have to check it out.

And to everyone else, I have talked to my pediatrist (I have custom inserts for my shoes) and they claimed that because of so much movement in the ski boots, it wouldn't work. (They obviously don't ski, because if your foot is moving around in your boot then they don't fit)
