I recently shot a coupe rolls of Provia 100f. My first time shooting slide film. None of my local labs do E-6 processing though, so it looks like I'll have to send it out somewhere. Anybody have any recommendations on a reliable and affordable place to send it to be processed and scanned?
You should look into cross processing (x-Pro). Depends on what sort of photographer you are and whether or not you like the effects (different films react differently - google it for specifics).
That way you won't have to send them out and get some rad (imho) pictures in the process!
generally seen as a "hipster" thing to do. Can give cool results, but it won't really give consistent or accurate results, and if OP wants to do anything other than put them on instagram, it isn't very useful.
I'm not totally opposed to trying cross processing, but this roll has what should be some epic landscape shots, so I'm not really looking for that effect. Plus slide film is just too expensive for me to want to expermient with it.
...So nobody has any experience with any good labs that do slides?
