hey guys, so i am turning to you NS. i have these line blends that i skied on for 1 season and the topsheet got pretty fucked up. But there are a couple spots that i am worried about maybe water getting into the wood or something else bad. i just want to know if i should even bother taking these into a shop, or if i am fine to ski on them how they are.

As you can see where it chipped there is wood under:

On mobile so it's hard to see but is it just the top laminate of the top sheet which is coming up? Looks like you have just bashed them hard and its just delaming about round the damage. Nothing needs fixing if that's it just cut the layer off round the same so hopefully it won't spread. You could the. stick a little expoxy round the edge to help stop it peeling off further.

yea it just is the top laminate, but right under it is just wood but its hard to tell if it is covered by another thin sheet of plastic or not. and yea i was thinking about putting epoxy on there. thanks man +k!

Yeah it won't be straight down to the core so don't worry. Just cut round the delaminated section and glue around if you can. That should stop it getting any worse.

if your worried about stuff like that, just seal it with a bit of epoxy, always worked for me, even with way worse looking stuff!

Thats the thing i can see the wood but its hard to tell if it has something else over it

What I found really works for topsheets is the epoxy putty sticks, just put it on and it's almost like a little ball and the grab some sandpaper once it's dry and sand it down till it's flush.
