Sand skiing?

i am going to the sand dunes this weekend to ride moto, ive seen videos of sand skiing and i am wondering if there is anything special i need to do such as wax and things like that. also if anybody on ns has ever done it

I have done it before. Use the spray you use to clean wood, like coffee tables and such, on the base of your skis.

Everyone I know who has done this has used silicone spray. Works fine.
