dude after reading your other thread it's opbvious you re serious and really want advice. my advoce fist hand would be to forget using salmon *. salomon bindings are outdated and didn't last me a season....i blew them up comoletely. anyone who knows me has seen my bindings and can attest to the fact they are destroyed. don't waste your money, get a serious binding; look or line.

don't worry about the weight too much. it's really in poractice not too much of a big deal.

the axe ones are this little riser plate with a metal bar that hooks the toe an heel together not something that you prob want you can just remove the axe piece if you don't want it an cannot find them anywhere else or jsut go here, www.proctorjones.com they are 169$

thats sorta funny, Salomons have been around for a long time the technology hasn't changed neither has the actual product its not a bad binding, any binding will break if u beat on it you were looking for something light and these are super light

i love my salomon bindings, last season i had a less expensive salomon binding and i beat it so bad, then just a couple weeks ago i tried again, still didn't work, therefore i went and bought some s912, and they look DOPE.
