Which resort has the most gapers? I think its either deer valley or vail.

Stratton, VT may have to take the cake on this one, if there was ever a mountain that's a pancake, it's Stratton. Not to mention every gaper from Westchester County and points south flock there on Friday nights

Hahahaha my cousin works there and I live about an hour away. Haven't been there in years! He's hooking me up with a season pass this year so I'll probably spend some time there. How's the park compared to Roundtop?

Le Relais has the worst type: beginner parents bringing in their 4-6 year old kid in the park, then yelling at the crews for not respecting the family.

Their park is actually pretty good when they have enough snow to work with, I've never been to roundtop but i know a lot of people that ride there and I've seen a lot of pictures and the park at Bear is a lot better.

Yeah he said the park is actually really good for the size and location of the mountain, but he doesn't ski very often. It seems like this place has always had a ton of snowboarders (not that it's a bother) is it still like that?

Does north at Mountain Creek count? It's the mecca for tourists with that new lodge. It also is only a short bus ride from New York, which doesn't help. But I'm grateful that the terrain park is a whole separate mountain, so it filters out most of the gapers.

Um, this is probably wrong its way less gaper than Wachussett or Nashoba I think Blue HIlls is sick for a crappy little mountain right in Boston its pretty steep for being so small and good to learn to race on. My HS skied there at nights it was awesome best move I ever made chucking in 5am hockey practices for hs skiing. And since its ghetto and state run with no $ and bad lifts that keeps gapers away.

(Haven't skiied it in 10 years since HS ski team of course but nothing can really change since its MDC run.)




Vail is gaper heaven. Nothing comes close. Id be embarrassed to admit to skiing in Summitt.

Okemo and Stratton are the most gaper mountains in the East.

No way a big mountain like vail or Stratton has the most gapers. I can vouch for whitetail PA being pretty bad since they draw all the gapers from the DC/Baltimore region. Massanutten in Virginia is gaper central too

Huck_NorrisI have found that the highest concentration of people who really suck on skis that somehow think they are God's gift to skiing go to Killington, and probably Hunter but I've never been there so I can't say.


Yeah, hunter and Windham get all the people from Long Island and from the city. I ski at WIndham and I seriously can't believe some of the shit I see and how gaper-ish the whole place is.

You guys should check out the french alps, home of the ultimate gaper also know as the British Tourist. These guys go for 1 week a year and consider 10 weeks experience to be as good as 10 years experience. I don't really care though, because its hilarious.

Lutsen Mountains Minnesota is prime for your average stereotypical gaper. Haven't seen more gopros and goggle straps over helmets in my life.

Giants ridge Minnesota has psychonut gapers, they're basically the only gapers in the world that are Awesome, they all wear full hunting camo suits, skidoo suits, or blaze orange suits. They get drunk and do really stupid shit, and they get stoked as hell if you do anything. I did a 3 on a jump and this drunk dude said "Holy shit! That was tight I thought only snowboarders could do a 360!"
