pretty much...doesn't have a start button, uses tiles like on the surface OS...out of the ~250 computers i manage ONE is windows 8 just so i could try it and i can't even figure out how to turn it off....i just use the command line.
i saw an infographic the other day that said more people are on vista than on windows 8...lol
I mean windows 8 just came out and the only way windows user get new OS' (usually, at least gapers which is 95% of them) is buying a new computer. Think how many computers people bought from 2006-2010 of course there are a shit ton of vista computers still out there.
And I dont think its even a command you have to code, I think you can just turn the tiles off? You can get off the tile screen I know that for sure, i did it one time looking at computer for fun at best buy and it just looked like windows 7.
Me too! I just bought an Asus Zenbook for uni and it has Windows 8 and I had no clue how to shut down other than holding the actual button. Download Classic Shell, it restores the start button and you can customize it as well.
i think you mean the top right corner, but its the same on the bottom right as well, you go to the corner and then move along the edge, then click settings, and at the bottom it turns off..
the thing that pops up is called the charms bar, charming, isnt it?
