So about eight weeks ago my younger brother, 16 /ageclaim?, pulled a thigh muscle super bad during athletics taking a chunk of bone off his pelvis, after surgery and some time spent on crutches/wheelchair he was eventually walking properly again and today he was a kicking a rugby ball around and he did exactly the same thing again. Now he's obviously an idiot, but i really feel for the guy. He is everything i struggled to be at school, popular, representing top teams for every sport, hot girlfriend etc. but now he'll miss sport until summer which means no skiing as well. For someone who has it all going for him he's gonna be super bummed out especially because his world revolves so heavily around sport.
Trying to think how to cheer him up/find hobbies he can take up while he recovers, i know its kind of a repost but what do jock-type people do when they get injured?
