Favorite animal and why?

I search barred and found a thread on the weirdest looking animal but nothing else.

what is your favorite animal/animals and why?

Manatees just because, i don't really know why. they just look really chill al the time i guess.

Foxes. They are on every continent besides south america and are cunning versatile survivors. If I had a farm they would be my least favorite.

I know someone already posted wolf, but this too is my favorite animal. When I was little I had no clue what my favorite animal was, always fluctuating between cheetah and lion and shit like that. Then one day, I found this deck of spirit animal cards. I laid those fuckers down on the table (50 of them) to finally choose my animal. As I was feeling around, I suddenly realized that wolves were fucking awesome and picked the card that was under my hand. It was a wolf. So pretty much wolves are my spirit animal.

Can I ask why? There are a lot of ducks (even though technically mergansers aren't ducks) out there that are a lot cooler looking and aren't shit birds (eating wise).
