A few weeks ago I went to Marseilles with my dad and his girlfriend and I met up with a friend of mine who lives in the city. As we were heading through the subway there were these kids smoking hash right there in front of everyone. I didn't think anything of it and just thought "damn I wish I had some good hash right now." I didn't feel in danger or anything. We got off at the stop and walked to a restaurant.
Just today we had this conversation where my dads girlfriend didn't feel safe in Marseilles. And she used the hash example in the subway and explained how it made her feel unsafe. Is she implying that hash is dangerous? Because she sounded stern about it. I smoke, and I am not sure whether she knows. However I don't want to be perceived as being dangerous. The comment irritated me a little, because she was profiling them as being dangerous solely on the reason of smoking hash publicly.
