NS not what it used to be?

I feel like the quality of community on NS isn't what it used to be. Im a fairly new member but I lurked for a long time before joininh and everyone used to be more supportivve and this was a better place to be. I hope that we can all return to be the community we once were.

So NS, what do you think has caused this decline in community and the quality of our website?

I don't really think you've been here long enough to make that call. I don't think I have either so. The community is fine though. The only thing that annoys me is that homophobic slurs that used to earn bans get posted on the regular now. It just annoys me a bit. No I'm not gay, but I have friends that are. I know there are members that are and they might be offended.

The slurs do really annoy me just because people are so ignorant when they say things. Also I don't like how people can say "faggot" and just be like "oh yeah man I was just joking when I called a random kid I have never talked to or even heard of that just because I disagree with them." I'm not gay either but I know people who are. Like yeah I say it sometimes but I'm not saying it as an insult. I think It pretty much goes along with saying n****r. It just depends in what context you say it because it carries a lot of meaning.

I think I went way off subject.

When I first started coming to NS, Wallisch had just won superunknown and was so hot because of his thug edit and pretzels. Everything seemed so magical at the time. This was the height of Jiberish popularity. We would all have traded our dicks for some XL Jiberish hoodies and fuck it if nobody in our schools understood. E-40 was cool as fuck because 4bi9 used his shit in their edits. "cool story hansel" was still big. PK, Mike Clarke and Jon were the only ones throwing doubles. Actually this wasn't that long ago was it.

basically there is just a lot more shitposting now
