So I might be some kids dad.

Last September I went to visit a buddy of mine at his college , while I was there a girl that lived the next floor down and I clicked. We ended up hooking up all weekend. Then I went home it was just a one weekend type of deal thing. Never talked to her again didn't even get her number.

Then today I get a phone call at like 8 am and it was her, she said she has had a hard time trying to get ahold of me because my friend wouldn't give her my number. And she said she just had a kid and she is pretty sure it is mine, she said we can do blood test to see if it is or not. I didn't know what to say so I just said okay. Kind of blown away right now I might be a dad. I got this to say guys , if she says she is on the pill wear a condom just to be safe. I might be paying the price for not doing so.

Definitely get the test, and if it comes up negative then wish her well and get the hell out of there, and if it's positive, well if I were you I might cry and then try to come up with some sort of a plan.

Try and stay positive about it man. You're probably in shock right now and it seems like the end of the world but I have friends that this has happened to and it ended up being the best thing that's ever happened to them. Try and build a relationship with her and do everything you can to be there for her and your child. It's probably a blessing in disguise. Good luck my friend.

Claim to be a unic. Lol jk but seriously, if your being serious right now and this child ends up being yours trying going for the adoption route if aborting isnt your cup of tea. My friend had a kid that was born on new years day and they went through a private adoption agency, with clients that pay a shit load of money to get kids from college grads/students.

Just got off the phone with her, asked her what made her think it is mine? She said she hooked up with two other guys in that time frame , one guy had red hair which the baby doesn't not, and the other guy was a black guy and the kid is not mixed at all. So pretty much it is down to me and a ginger. She already set a date with the docs to get a DNA test done in 2 weeks. So I will be pulling my hair out for the next two weeks.

Also. Drain your blood and buy a bunch of blood on ebay and pump it into your body so it wont match. Then do it again and put your blood back in. I think that should work.

Do the test if you think it will keep this crazy bitch away and if you do feel a sense of obligation should it turn up positive.

Your boy should know if other dudes have been banging her. MOst probably aren't wrapping up like you. Prob not yours.

why pull your hair out? If it ends up being yours than you have pulled off one of the most special things known to the universe in reproducing yourself with another person. It's an amazing thing. Sure, maybe you're young and you don't have all the resources necessary yet but there has to be support for people in those situations (but it might have helped more if you were black /joke).

Try to look at it half glass full man. If it's not yours you're off the hook...if it is you have a little guy to raise and take care of and watch grow that you made. That is awesome.

Well I'm kind of coming down from a shock, pulling my hair out is pretty much over I was legit freaking out for like 5 hours today. I'm okay with raising a kid, the only downside she live pretty far from me, I'm from New York and she is from Tennessee. Which brings on the question if this is my kid how in the world will we make that work? One of us will have to move, and do we move in together? I got 2 weeks to make a game plan if this is my kid or not so that is what I'm going to be doing.

She is super chill real easy going kind of girl.

I called my buddy today as well he said he didnt want to give out my number because he felt like that would be breaking some kind of bro-code. All I said was no you should have given her my number soon as you found out she was having a kid and she asked for my number. I cant believe he held out for like 6 months, that was fucked and I told him that. I would have had more time to get my shit together instead being called up and her telling me she had a baby girl and it might be mine.

hey man as long as both of you have good heads on your shoulders than even if the "worst case scenario" comes to fruition then you can probably make it work...and it might even work out really well. Who knows.

Take it one step at a time. If it makes you feel any better there are a ton of people who have been in your situation and are living happy lives still.
