Whats the worst injurie you've ever had.

Recently this summer I hyperextended my MCL and slightly tore and cut a bunch of ligaments in my knee and had to have 50mL of blood sucked out of it. They also found that i have 5cm by 2 cm bone tumors in my knee. This is probably my worst injury leading to another bad thing that I have ever had and was wondering what is yours. Please share

I was younger and don't really remember a whole lot but I smashed my head and it split open to my skull. It was apparently like 3 inches long but all I remember was some guy wrapping his tshirt around my head and some of the ambulance ride. Dont really know if it counts as an injury but I got diagnosed with a disease called osgood schlatters in both of my knees so I basically can't crouch or go on my knees without it hurting. And it sucks because it's permanent and will only get worse.

Probably this fucking acl and meniscus tear.... 1 month out from surgery now



Other than that, probably the time I stuck a fork through my hand. That hurt and bled a lot

tried a baby crusher on a down rail because the jump to it was small and had no lip hit, my knee on the support of it and now my knee starts hurting a ton after a lot of physical activity other than that just a couple of fractured fingers

Either broken collarbone or separated shoulder. I haven't had very many bloody injuries in my life, knock on wood.

i broke both my arms at the same time... not very bad injuries on their own but i couldn't do shit for like 6 weeks.

Not the worst i've had, but as this was from yesterday i think it will make a nice addition to the thread.

I was in Deux Alpes this weekend, and decided to speed check a kicker in a not very sensible fashion. I overshot, and came down on my ski.

I cut a gash in my back from my hip to my spine - approx. 20cm long, and 7-8cm deep. Luckily i missed anything important. I got helicoptered out to Grenoble, had a little surgery there to sow up the muscle/cut, and left this afternoon.

My friends who picked me up didn't get in from partying until 9am this morning, so we were all feeling a little sorry for ourselves on the way back. Epic park at the moment though!

I broke my thumb catching when I was 12. Last season I almost broke both of my collar bones at the same time after catching my tip on the rail and fallling to my face on ice

dude, that looks fuckin' gnar.

the worst I've ever had was probably when i bashed my face on the concrete....HARD....broke my jaw in three places, busted out 3 teeth, split my upper lip 3/4 of the way through from the outside - in & 3/4 of the way through from the inside - out, plus a broken eye socket. it looked like someone beat me with a baseball bat.

I have that too and i gets better not worse. It goes away for the most part after you are done growing. You have those bumps on your knees right? They are just tiny cracks in your knees and thats what makes it hurt.

That's skin they took from my thigh and placed over the burn, that and staples.

Where they took skin from (it's covered by xeroform sterile gauze which is embedded into my skin. It slowly falls off over the course of three weeks)


^regarding infection, not really. I was putting bacotracin [sp?] and other antibiotic creams. I covered the burn with some gauze and changed the bandages once or twice a day. I had surgery five days after I got burned. The doctor wanted to do the surgery sooner than that to avoid infection, but I had finals and stuff to do before they started pumping me full of pain killers.

most of the inside of my stomach started bleeding and left untreated for a month or so, my poop got progressively redder and when i went to the hospital the doctor was like "yo, if you didnt come in for another two days you would've died and your poop would be hella bloody."

also this caused bloooood to spray onto my ceiling while i ran around in hysteria. http://instagram.com/p/b79iz_O-Yn/
