It's been much better the past few years than it was previously and from talking to the park manager it sounds like they're gonna try to continue improvements
The windows would not break. We will not actually use glass. This will be built durable and as tough as any other jib, rail, or box you find in terrain parks today. We hold your safety very dear to our hearts and minds, and would never put out a product that could potentially hurt someone by fabrication failure.
At least we aren't taking shit away... there is also going to be an additional 2' flat to 12' down rail that can be added onto the end of this to make our quad kink. Otherwise it can also be used as a beginner handrail.
i dont understand the flatbox on top. i dont see how you are supposed to get on the thing and the landing makes even less sense.and in the fabrication photo, the flat box is not on the top but almost half way up the side which would be buried in snow if you were to set it up like in the mock ups... i am confused.
We have updated the computer model since the one that was in blue. Since teaming up with 686, I posted a video above that is the new rendition. The very top of this box is an 8" wide ledge box that will feature its own take off. To skiers left is a creeper ledge that is a 1'1/2 wide and yes halfway down the backside. Yet to be fabricated is the slant box featured below the windows, yet to be installed. Then the whole feature will sit on top of a vertical wallride to act as a ledge drop off. We will adjust the height of this wall with snow and adjust landings accordingly. It's somewhat hard to portray where the snow will be with a sketchup model. As we post more pictures of the fabrication process we hope you will get a better idea.
Great fucking season nashoba, best park i skied all year no lie, but you neeeeed to take away the close in part, it just makes the feature unnecessarily (tough word) hard and doesnt add much appeal to it. I only saw maybe three or four people hit the front side of it in my five or so trips while it was up.
