I have a few questions, so im just gonna stack em all up in one post.
As an director, how do you work to get what you want on tape? Do you have something specific that you want from the skiers, that you write down (storywise), or make a rough script to get the story flow in the way you want it? or do you just rig up the camera and film whatever happends?
How do you focus on sound-recording and sound-editing? And how do you adapt the sound for the mood of each segment?
We all know that making skifilms is challenging, and it's common that not everything goes as you planned... How do you deal with those situations? And have you expirienced that the end result turned out better, although the production days didn't go as you planned? Give an example!
Do you take inspiration from featurefilms?
Who's the cinematographers you look up to the most. Give us one name from the actionsportfilm-industry and one name from Hollywood.
