Rant about the seriousness of skiing

I started a thread yesterday about pushy parents and it turned into a debate of what stretches you should do before skiing (wtf?) Have you even been to a skatepark and seen people doing stretches? Skiing to me isn't a serious sport like football or whatever, its a chilled sport like skating, just my opinion.

Being serious about being serious is seriously serious ... take note and hopefully the serious skiing world will not cave in on itself.

skiing is
not a matter of life and death, it’s more important than that

I've been skating for 4 years and at first stretching wasn't cool but ever since dudes like austyn gillette and nick tucker showed themselves doing It in their day in the lives it's now something alot of kids do, personally I'm too lazy to do it but when I do I don't endup being as sore at the end of the day. I think it's a good thing.

People have been arguing about random pointless shit on the internet, must make a thread about it!
