Hi,

I'm on my P Plate (Australia) and cant drive turbo cars. I love the R34 GTR, it looks good and sounds good. Wish I can have one. I want that turbo sound. Instead, I can drive an R34 GT (non turbo) and so I bought one for my first car.

The stock GT looks like shit and sounds like shit, so I modified it.

Removed all the damn stickers the previous owner put on

2.5" catback, Magnaflow Cat, No Resonator
Varex Cannon muffler(has a remote for loud and quiet setting for early mornings and late nights)

What's a ricer? Someone who spends on "looks" rather than performance?

Compared to the stock GT.. Mine sounds better.. Looks better.. I dont give a damn about "performance" mods. I drive to work/uni/gf.. I don't drift, I don't do burnouts. I dont race/speed.
I was caught speeding once going 50 in a 70 area at a school zone(40 limit).

Why would I get performance upgrades when I just use it to get from A to B. I look good and sound good getting wherever I need to be.

People ask "why do people do that to their car?"  Well this is why I do it. Looks good, sounds good, I don't speed and I don't drive like an asshole. Why do I need performance?

I don't understand the "ricer" term. It should be renamed to "shit/idiot drivers" who speed, do burnouts, drift and drive like shit on the streets and not on the track, regardless of what car they have.

Also got a sound system and sub woofer in the trunk. I enjoy my music everywhere.
I don't DOOF DOOF earthquake the street like those POS kids.
A little bit of bass is better than no bass. Go to the cinema and watch the movie without bass.

Is this how it actually works in Australia? (never mind the rest of the troll post)If so thats crazy to restrict drivers from what car they can and cannot buy.
