The MõVI was a revolution.
Compare this to the iPad and Amazon fire.
A comparison in price point is skewed when you compare a professional rig designed for a combined camera and lens weight of 12lbs vs one that wasn't aimed at RED users and just designed to hold 4,4lbs. The MõVI M5 is the competitor in the same weight class and costs just 5K in contrast to the 15K of it's bigger brother.
The reason the M10 is so expensive is because it can handle a Red camera with heavy lens and still perform, also features such as 'drift free horizon" that utilizes a very accurate GPS, a system that records the exact camera position, height, pan, tilt and roll angle to aid the VFX team in post production and a lot more. The M10 is made for professional productions.
Also the MõVI's are made with remote control in mind but they didn't forget the people who want to go solo, I still haven't seen anything as majestic as MõVi's Majestic mode on any rip-off.
