Is this a good tripod and mic?

I have a new job and I'm doing video work as part of it. Doing promotional videos and stuff. Filming with a T3i, but they need a new tripod and mic. I have experience in video, just not a lot with the accessories, so can anyone confirm if these would be good purchases? Not trying to break the bank, but I could spend a little more if the quality was much better.

Not sure about the microphone but the tripod isn't bad. Like always with camera equipment, you usually get what you pay for. Pretty good tripod but not sure about the mic. Fluid heads are awesome too

Yeah the fluid head will be the best bet for video, and reviews say that's a nice tripod, but heavy. Just make sure you're okay with that. I'm sure that mic is fine, affordable, probably not the best quality but I'm sure it'll get the job done.
