WTB: Canon 70-200 Non IS

you lucky duck. free bump for a fellow photo bortha in need of nice glass.

it is an awesome lens. My mom uses it, mostly to shoot hockey games, and it is seriously amazing. Good luck finding one, can't go wrong with it.

i'm looking at these too but probably will hold off for a while. Assuming you're looking for the F4 (the f2.8 is like 2k), then for a non-is I've been seeing like 700 to 900 for used ones, about 1100 to 1400 for used with the IS. Hope that helps

I'm assuming with that price range you're talking about the f2.8 non is version. A lot of them are listed in that price range but you can usually get them for cheaper. I just picked up mine for $850 and it was in flawless condition. One tip that me and my friends use to get stuff for cheaper on craigslist is to have one of your friends get in contact with the guy. Let's say you want to try to get the lens for $925; have your friend offer him $850 and then you offer him $900. In my experience this has worked really well on items that have been up for sale longer as you can assume they haven't gotten a lot of offers. One other resource I would check out would be

I payed 550 for my f/4 non IS and I though that I payed 50 bucks too much. I'm sure op can get it for the same.

The prices are probably slightly higher in canada, that sounds like a deal to me, but it's all relative
