Apple disabled GBA4IOS

So turns out the Gameboy emulator that was awesome got banned by Apple. People that already had it can use it but you can no longer download it. This pisses me off because mine was glitchy so I deleted it and now I can't get it back.

So for those of you who saw my link in the "favorite iPhone apps" thread. This is why you cannot get the Gameboy on your phone.

Summed up: Fuck Apple

It literally takes about 10 minutes tops to jailbreak your phone, and then you have access to lots of emulators just like the one you're talking about, stop bitching

Aaannnnddd +1 for android. Even a stock android phone can download app files from the internet instead of just from the market. Apple is so lame about apps.

plus rooting is safe and can let you actually speed up your phone. Plus most good apps are free, and its easy to run different OS's. Sucks to suck, Apple.

I don't recommend jailbreaking. Its slow and one time I bricked a 3gs. Damn android users, theres also a emulator for the windows phone.

Everyone saying they bricked their I devices, other than 1 software update, think it was like iOS 2-3 or something like that, they literally can't be broken unless you break the hardware, you can just restore them.

The only reason why you can do this kind of stuff on Android is because it is a Linux distro that WAS semi-open source. Google is sure to start restricting some of this because their app sales suck. Anyone with a 4shared account can get any app they want in 15 seconds more time than it took to get it from the play store. Apple and Android are two completely different things. Apple makes a shit ton of money doing it, and Google.. Not so much.

rooting is alot more sketchy then jailbreaking.

jailbreaking is suck a joke. Its hard to brick a phone, ive tried and never succeeded. If you can sync your iPhone you can jailbreak it.

I wasent joking! Windows phone 7 is sick. minus the shitty app store and bugs that need fixing. Ive had all 3, apple, android, and windows. and windows is #1 in my heart.

rooting is as easy as downloading a file and drivers, and plugging your phone in. If you fuck up rooting you're an idiot. On my gs3 all i had to so was download supersu from the market and busybox. Don't tell me its sketchy.

Yeah rooting and jail breaking have bad reputations, its actually not that hard but if you miss one step you'd fuck it up. I dunno how you mess it up beyond a simple restore.

with most newer phones even if you miss a step, it just prompts you to try again. And with most galaxy-nexus phones it takes no steps outside google play. The risk was in the bad old days of rooting when you actually had to type code. Really there is no way to brick your droid rooting anymore.

naw with the old HTC's it took more. The old motorolas were pretty simple, but i had to type quite a bit more into my thunderbolt. I know on a linux pc its that simple, but it never was on any phones ive had

Owner of a Galaxy S1 (Mesmerize), GS3 and Note II going to iPhone in a little under a month.


And no, I am fully capable of working android and used it to its full potential. I have unlocked, jailbroken, rooted just about every kind of phone and am choosing to move over to apple. Android is fucking boring. People always say "Oh well youre not using it to its full potential" Its like shit dude, what the fuck else is there to do? iOS7 looks sick as hell and now i'll be able to send sick emojis to all my hoes. Bitches love emojis.

yeah you can send emojis from many non stock keyboards. You can also run different roms, use airdroid, overclock, and actually develop your own apps without being a company. I can even run a windows 8 rom and an ios rom. but if you just your phone for simple shit and don't like customization, ios is a great stable OS. It just feels like you're so limited if you try to do a lot of things. Android is only boring if you never experiment with it, and just rooting doesn't count.

Haven't tried it yet, but I've heard good things about it. To its credit, it looks super silky and some of the Nokia windows phones look pretty nice (especially that 41 mp camera model coming out soon). People just seem to jump on the Windows hate bandwagon and knock it without ever trying it.

I hate non stock keyboards and some lack functionality (receiving/viewing emojis) Roms are nice but usually much less stable and are prone to crashing, Using my droid as a mobile hotspot was nice. Im going to be happy with my choice I think.
